Client & Invoice Data: We store the client information (names, email addresses, notes) and invoice details (amounts, due dates, status) that you enter into PayChasers.

Communication Logs: We keep records of follow-up emails sent through our platform for tracking and compliance purposes.

Usage Data: We collect limited operational metrics such as login events, feature usage, and system performance data solely to maintain reliability, improve usability, and debug issues. We do not use behavioral tracking or third-party analytics for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the PayChasers service
  • Send automated follow-up emails to your clients
  • Improve our product and user experience
  • Provide customer support
  • Process payments for Pro subscriptions

We will never:

3. Data Storage & Processing

Location: Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest, along with appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

4. Access Controls & Trust Model

PayChasers is a hosted SaaS application. As the service operator, we may have limited technical access to application data for maintenance, debugging, and customer support purposes.

There are no internal dashboards or tools designed for browsing customer data, and access is not used for inspection, analysis, or any non-operational purpose.

PayChasers is built with a principle of minimal access and minimal data collection. We have no interest in inspecting customer invoices, and our business and reputation depend directly on maintaining user trust.

Future improvements may include additional access restrictions, encryption of sensitive fields, and optional self-hosted deployments for users with higher privacy requirements.

5. Third-Party Services

PayChasers integrates with carefully selected third-party services to provide core functionality. Examples include authentication providers, email delivery services, and payment processors. We only share the minimum necessary data required for these services to function, and each service has their own privacy policies and security measures in place.
